Building a seamless Microsoft Teams Rooms setup for office returnees, whilst facilitating the imperative need to connect with clients globally across diverse platforms.

Background

This global law firm, boasting more than 20 offices worldwide, approached us post-lockdown seeking help for a transition from  a standardised Skype approach to Microsoft Teams to help enhance user experience.

Leveraging our eight-year history of collaboration with them, they approached us for help in designing and building a seamless MTR setup for office returnees, whilst facilitating the imperative need to connect with clients globally across diverse platforms

Process

At the moment we are working in their London office, the international headquarters and largest office. We are systematically replacing equipment on a room-by-room basis, whilst providing remote managing and monitoring for operational rooms, ensuring a seamless transition. 

We are also delivering high level service with onsite support where needed and best-in-class SLA. Not all customers ask for this level of support, but our white-glove management solution can really benefit a company when the choice of specialised meeting spaces has been made.

How will you maintain the high level of support and service that some users might expect? What happens if anything goes wrong, or if the user experience is not up to standards? Or what if your meeting room needs updating or changing? Understanding where to add the display vs camera and how to adapt to new technology can be difficult for an in-house team that is not specialised in the field, so whilst we design the room with all your needs in mind, a remote managing service ensures a consistent delivery of top-tier user experiences.

Current situation

We continue to work with the customer, delivering high standard meeting spaces with full support. Every room is getting its own unique update to deliver the expected user experience, whilst we also help on-site with full support.

Conclusion:

The brief was to transition from Skype to Microsoft Teams and provide a smooth and seamless user experience fit for purpose. We continue to deliver this, room by room; providing the customer with meeting spaces fit for the future and worldwide collaborations. We are glad to see the benefits of hybrid working put into action as we know this will only grow in the future.
